First picture of Sue on our US trip - more very soon!

Sue does her Mr Gumby impression, standing in the borax of the Badwater Basin, Death Valley.

And here are the roller skating nuns of Central Park. Not a hoax, not blokes dressed up, just nuns out rollerskating.

The classic long straight road picture. California 190 crosses the desert of the Panamint Valley, climbing in the distance to cross Towne Pass into Death Valley.

Brenda's building in San Francisco, Cochrane Towers, aka The Bernal Heights Flat Iron.

Sue bubbling under in Golden Gate Park.

Browsing in Bishop, California.

More rain had fallen in Death Valley that at any time in the last 100 years, and the desert was alive with wild flowers. It was also a very pleasant spring temperture when we went. Expecting an arid inferno, we demanded our money back.

How low can a man get?

Mystereous Mono Lake, on top of the Sierra Nevada, waiting for Clint to blow in in 'High Plains Drifter'.

Street Performers outside the Met Museum, New York.

With the Great Silver Shark; Bat Country, near Alta Sierra California.

Sue tiptoes through the sardines, Monteray Aquarium.

No, this isn't cut out from a 1950s tourist brochure, it's a genuine photo (no idea who the redhead is). Lake Tahoe, California.

Sue with a Pink Cadillac, San Francisco.
